Planner & Package

Your Wedding Planner

My educational background is a Bachelor of Business Majoring in Marketing from Australia, so asking me to talk about what I do and why I am the best is like opening a huge flood gate. To keep you from falling asleep I will try and keep it short.

Born and bred in the beautiful Fiji Island's, I grew up in the tourism industry as my parents (yes, there is a trend) started their own business that went on to become (and still is) the largest tourist transport provider in Fiji. I grew up with one ambition and that was to take over the family company, so (as is the case with all family business's) by the time I was probably 5 I was able to take phone messages from any clients that called after hours and ensure that it was seen to by the relevant manager.

Later on I progressed from after hours receptionist to looking after VIP guests and agents as well as the sales & marketing of the company. You ask why is this relevant? It is relevant because attitudes instilled in me at 5 are relevant in my business today mantras such as "The customer is always right", "It's not the problem that matters, its you do about it that counts".

Unfortunately for my ‘taking over the company' aspirations, Mum & Dad sold the company. However that early entry into the business world has given me that ‘extra edge'. A lot of Wedding Planning work involves the tourism industry from accommodation and venues to catering and entertainment.

That's the business side of things; on the "Romance side of things" I am a complete romantic! Even though we know those romantic block busters are very, very loosely based on some semblance of reality I am still first in line armed with my ice cream and chips to watch every love story Hollywood has to offer.

I dream of the day when a groom will quietly take me aside and say....ok I want to surprise my future wife with a rendition out of the "Love Actually" from the Wedding scene, or I want to surprise my future wife the afternoon before our wedding with a helicopter trip to a scheduled beach for champagne and caviar!!

So the moral of the story is I have the right business background to advise you on what you can afford based on your budget and where you could potentially save money and that combined with a "romantic at heart" I think makes me a great Wedding Planner. I do have to put in a quick disclosure though, at no point in my Wedding Planner contract do I commit to not shedding a tear or two at the ceremony. I simply can't help myself I do believe in marriage and love and seeing two people come together and make the vows to stay together is still one of the most special things in the world!!

Wedding Package

Some basic research has shown me that brides don't have that many options when it comes to planning your Fiji Wedding, and most often then not you have to select from a range of Wedding Packages that have alot of things you simply don't want. So to try and combat this I have created a single package known as the "Essentials Package" this includes your bare basics to get married.
