If you have a look at alot of Wedding sites for Fiji, it doesn't take long to notice that the majority of them are overseas based agents specialsing in International Weddings.

Whats the difference with using between using overseas based Weddding Planner services and Fiji Weddings Services?

Well for starters, location, location, location I live in Fiji, work in Fiji, have grown up in Fiji and planned Weddings in Fiji so it goes without saying that a bit of local knowledge helps where ever you go and I would think you would want someone 'on the ground' so to speak organising your wedding rather then someone a few thousand miles away from where you plan to say I do.

Location aside, the main reasons you would hire a Wedding Planner is firstly to save money and the second reason is to save you time and of course the related stress that goes with planning a wedding whether it be in your country or at your chosen Wedding destination.

How do you save money and time? If you are a working bride then the only time you have available to organize your wedding is during your lunch break, after work (when most businesses and vendors have already closed) and maybe on Saturdays. (Of course if your organising a Wedding in Fiji from another time zone, well that just makes it that more...fun)

All this in between that thing called daily life. You can do it on your own with out a doubt, but keep in mind this is the most important day of your life where you need to be concentrating on looking fabulous and enjoying yourself not checking up on the kitchen to ensure the cocktails are delayed slightly because guests are taking their time to arrive, or advising the MC there has been a last minute change in programme or urgently arranging transport for the band whose vehicle broke down on its way over to your wedding.

As an Event Planner, I can say trust me, these things happen all the time! The role of your wedding planner is too coordinate all of this as best she/ he can then be there on the day to trouble shoot all these exciting things that happen ‘behind the scene's' to ensure that you and your guests enjoy yourselves (completely oblivious to any drama's that might happen ‘behind the scenes').

Once you have decided you would like to get married in Fiji, get in touch with me straight away. I will provide you with a ‘Quote Request Form’ in which you give me as much detail as possible as to what you want out of your Fiji Wedding.  Based on what you want I will come back to you with a quotation matching up what you want with what is available within your budget. 

What can I organize for you? Everything…. And then some

-          Airport meet & greet

-          Transfers (Land, air & sea within Fiji)

-          Accommodation

-          Wedding package (Using the hotels existing wedding packages)

-          Reception

-          Any events prior or post your wedding, such as boy’s fishing trip or ladies Spa indulgence

If you have guests attending, we can coordinate their visit as well if they wish.

It is important that you get in touch with me first; a common issue has been that brides have found out about my services after they have already booked their hotel’s etc and then want me to assist which is a difficult scenario as I am then an unrelated third party that properties have no reason to listen to. If on the other hand I am handling your complete booking I can work with the hotel to ensure together we can work together to put together what you want for your special day.

Equipment & décor hire

If you have already organized your Wedding, however you would like a little bit extra in the decorations or equipment I also run an Equipment Hire business www.events.com.fj for so as well as tables and chairs for hire I also have fairy lights, a selection of candle holders, red carpet, table runners etc. And if I don’t have what you want, and you give me enough time I can try and source what you want.
