I always remember my mother joking about how they received what seemed like a million toasters and casserole dishes for their Wedding gifts. (Of course I am going with the hope that none of the guests at my parents Wedding are reading this)
Gift registry's have certainly gone a long way to ensuring this does not happen, I realize I may at this point start sounding like a broken record. None the less in Fiji I am only aware of one retailer that has a Gift Registry facility available (whether the staff serving you understands what a gift registry is that I cannot say).
A fair amount of money is spent on Wedding gifts, personally I enjoy the challenge of finding the gift that shows that I care and obviously put time and thought into selection process and equally as important is a gift that shows that I spent a dollar or two on so as to ensure they know I am not a complete cheapskate.
Listed are the likely spots you can find wedding gifts for as well as a couple of cool websites which also might help you get up their into the "Top 5 Wedding Gifts" and cement your place in the hearts of the happy couple!!
